Authenticity and self-acceptance as protection against fear of rejection.

If a cooler hello, a late reply or a short silence immediately makes you wonder “What is wrong with me?”, this workbook is for you.

For highly sensitive people who immediately notice a change in mood and carry criticism, distance or silence with them for a long time.
For people who seem calm on the outside but quickly doubt themselves or adapt just to avoid losing their connection with others.
Alongside the chapters, you will find writing exercises and a 14-day challenge. They help you recognise fear of rejection, calm your nervous system and build a new sense of inner safety.
You will learn to notice fear of rejection as it happens, separate facts from the stories in your head, calm your nervous system and set small boundaries without immediately adapting to others.
After working through these pages, you can better understand rejection, criticism or silence without immediately questioning yourself. You can recognise old ways of protecting yourself, explore the question “Am I too much?” and gradually develop more self-acceptance and inner safety.
I am highly sensitive myself, and I know how it feels not to understand what is happening inside you. It was a long and often difficult journey for me to stop seeing my sensitivity as a curse.
Today I understand it better and can consciously use it in my life. Something I struggled with for years has become a gift that brings me closer to myself. We highly sensitive people are good as we are. Our sensitivity can be a strength.
Download the files you want through your purchase download link and save them fully on your device. You will usually find them in Downloads. The EPUB has adjustable text size; the PDF keeps its fixed page layout.
For EPUBs, open Files, touch and hold the file, then choose Share → Books. For the audiobook, install BookPlayer by Gianni Carlo. Save the M4B in Files, then choose Share → BookPlayer. If BookPlayer is missing from the Share menu, open it and import the file using its file picker.
Open the EPUB from Files or My Files → Downloads in a reading app such as ReadEra. Open the M4B in a compatible audio app such as VLC. If it does not play, extract the MP3 ZIP and open the chapter files instead. Keep them in numbered order and turn shuffle off.
On Windows, add the EPUB to calibre using Add books and double-click the title. Open M4B or extracted MP3 files in VLC using Media → Open File. On a Mac, use File → Import in Apple Books for EPUB or M4B. Open the PDF in Preview or your preferred PDF app.
Extract the MP3 ZIP before opening its chapter files. Download each file completely on each device, then test it briefly without an internet connection. Different apps do not automatically sync your files or reading and listening positions. In VLC, note the chapter and time before a long break rather than relying on an exact saved position. Keep a backup of your downloads.
For workbook exercises, use the PDF in a suitable PDF app or print the pages. EPUBs and audiobooks are for reading and listening, not fillable worksheets.
This workbook is not meant to turn you into a different person overnight. It takes you seriously, does not label you as ill, and explains your reactions in a warm, human and understandable way.
Explore your sensitivity without losing yourself or making yourself small in everyday life.
